This light has helped me so much in my art projects. Overhead light doesn't allow me to check the sides, but this flexibility of this light has negated that issue. I got this as my wife and I are getting older and eyes are aging. Fine print hard to read or just the other night having to pull a sliver out of a hand. Good light on the magnifying glass which you don't have to hold helps us see these finer details. Not something we hope to be using a lot but when you do need it; you really need it.

I've used a magnifying glass light for years at work. They're indispensable for detail soldering and such. As you can see in the pictures it makes it a lot easier to look for things like a scratched shaft under the lit magnifying lense. The light is very good. It would be better if the lense was a bit larger though for a better viewing area.
