Great Addition to Any Computer

As someone who still uses older computers with floppy drives, I was thrilled to find this portable, external drive. According to my experience, it's easy to set up and works exactly as expected. The slim design makes it easy to transport and it's sturdy enough to withstand regular use. The only downside is that it requires an additional power source, so it's not completely "portable" in the truest sense of the word. Overall, this is a great addition to any computer system that still requires…

Pros
  • Portable, easy to set up, works great.
Cons
  • Requires additional power source.

Works with my computer. Slowly but better than nothing.

My computer was upgraded from Windows 7 to Windows 10 when Windows 10 came out and was free. My PC is about 11 years old. He recognized this USB stick immediately. It's slow, but speed doesn't matter to me what it's used for. The kit included a USB to USB-C adapter.

Pros
  • Pretty impressive
Cons
  • For the old

Doesn't work well on Mac

This drive makes a constant clicking noise when the drive is not in the Mac. It can read and write normally when the disc is in, but if you don't leave the disc in it makes constant noise and wears out the disc. I wouldn't recommend this for Mac users.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Clarity
