These work just fine in my VertuoLine machine. Some tips that helped me: If your coffee grinder has a coarse/fine scale of 1 to 10 with 1 being the finest, set it on a 2 or 3. The coffee does not have to be the finest possible grind. If it's too fine, the water flow could be impeded.Tamp down each little scoop. My first time using, I only tamped down once after I had filled the entire pod. The coffee was too weak. I tried again and tamped down for each scoop and that made a huge difference in the coffee strength and crema.Close the pod to where you can't see the gasket and the top and bottom are flush against each other. I have not had any leaking in my machine and it's probably because I close the pod all the way each time. In order to close the pod all the way, don't fill it too full. If you fill the pod too full then you won't be able to close the pod all the way flush to where the gasket is not visible, and it's likely you'll have leaks (and maybe machine damage) like a previous reviewer. I have used the small brush provided to clean any bits out of the threading area on the top and bottom pieces to ensure it closes all the way. Make sure the tamped down coffee is level and not sticking up past the rim of the bottom piece before you close it.My only complaint is so far I don't know where I will be able to purchase additional gaskets. I have reached out to the company via email and awaiting an answer.
