Review on ๐Ÿ’พ Revolutionize Legacy Data Storage with Gotek SFR1M44-U100: USB SSD Floppy Drive Emulator by Seth Torres

There is no documentation but it is on the web. Worked on the embroidery machine SWF A-T1201.

I was able to get it to work on my 1999 SWF AT 1201 embroidery machine. If you don't know, search the web for the product and many manual pdfs are missing, but there are several YouTube videos and forums discussing them for various products. I had to put a jumper on the JA and rotate it 180 so it could be screwed to the floppy. When downloading it, plug in a 2GB or less FAT formatted flash drive, hold down both buttons on the converter while powering on the device. The drive will begin installing folders. If the computer does not start, wait for the drive to format the flash drive (by holding both buttons while turning it on). Once that is done, power cycle the device and let it boot up normally. After the download I had selected format 1201 for the folder with files (000). After it was formatted, my desktop could store files on it. Files are transferred much faster than from a floppy disk, and there are many more folders. I was able to download projects from it and will be testing it over the next few months. But while it works, you don't have to wait 2-3 months for the SUE version to arrive from China.
