I was looking for a new mouse, the one I have is getting on in age, and tends to be a little slow on the mouse click.I asked for advice from my friends and I ended up with 30 different suggestions. One that intrigued me was this style of mouse.Instead of spending oodles of cash on one like this and not liking it, I decided to go the cheap route, a precursor. I could still use it for my laptop occasionally if I didn't like it too much.I gave it a 2 star and not a 1 star because it was so cheap, but the accuracy has to be better than what this mouse is showing me. It's actually a complete work flow killer.Hooked it up, seen there is really no app that comes with it and that is fine.I move the cursor around and it either flies all around or it drags across the screen. The DPI button is a bit extreme. The mouse click is fine, but the design is a little convoluted, not sure where the mouse buttons begin on the device. I am sure I would get use to it, but I was constantly glancing down to see if I was holding it right. This could be due to the design of the mouse.When I try to zero in on something to click it is almost like the mouse is fighting with me to go there. It is very strange. At first I thought it was my mouse pad that it was stopping it from moving correctly, maybe something spilled on it, but it wasn't.Between the mouse pads on the bottom of this device and the accuracy of the mouse itself, this is almost unusable. I would have to stop for a moment to literally grit my teeth and try and slowly move the mouse to the destination.I move the dongle, for lack of better terms, to a USB right close to the mouse to make sure there is nothing interfering with it and that did not matter. The accuracy is, well, abysmal.Video editing, graphic design and photo editing. Impossible to work with. I wasnt expecting to use this for long, but to give me a good idea about the way you hold it. I can't tell yet either because this was not a good product. So my little experiment failed.This mouse, for me anyways, is a 3 point shot deep toss into the trash. I'll keep it around for a short time, I might use it for emergencies but it is so bad with its core function I am having a hard time believing this has such a high rating.Do people not care how accurate a mouse is?Makes me appreciate my current mouse all that much more.
