Review on πŸ”’ K&N Premium Oil Filter for HYUNDAI/KIA/SUBARU/HONDA: Engine Protection & Compatibility (HP-1004) by Sean Bouchard

Revainrating 4 out of 5

this filter has 2 different manufacturers

so i ordered this filter several times and sometimes i got it in the usa and sometimes in mexico. The main differences I found. box) has 8 holes instead of 5 The filter always comes wrapped in plastic The oil interval sticker is included in the box Made in USA (left filter and left box) Only 5 oil feed holes Not in the Amazon plastic packaging The oil interval sticker is directly on the filter box as in the picture shown. In general, the packaging carton is designed differently if you look closely at the folds of the carton. one has a longer crease. Also, the top of the filter will say it's made in the US or Mexico. I can't tell if there is a difference after installing it in the car. But I wonder if one is better than the other? In Mexico, the 7 hole seems to be better, but it's made in Mexico compared to the US. I still buy them because of the cheap price. to get more Made in the USA than Made in Mexico. I prefer a filter that comes in a plastic bag because every time I receive an oil filter the filter box gets damaged. and sometimes there isn't even a filter in the box.
