*capmesso offered me half off this review*I've been a loyal nespresso-ist for two years. i grew tired of buying sleeves so i decided to recap them on my own: clean existing pods out, purchase and grind coffee, and recap them, saving $.50/pod. when i got tired of that, i started seeing capmesso on amazon but wanted to wait for more reviews. a few months later, i bit the bullet and bought it. so far so good!i buy my beans from trader joes and grind there- first setting for espresso. Store in a coffee vac (also purchased via amazon).what i bought: 8 oz cuppros: you choose your own coffee/espresso, taste and crema are on par.cons: filling and cleaning the pod out after each use. pod is extremely hot after use, therefore if you are making a cup for more than one person, wear heat-resistant gloves to clean out the first capmesso, or consider buying a 2nd one. also, you will hear your machine chug along like it's dying which is uncomfortable.we use the nespresso a few times a week, def not as much as i did when i had pre-made pods, but it tastes a lot better and is a lot less effort. we still have nespresso pods for guests and special occasions =P
