This Epson EF-100 Smart Streaming Laser Projector with Android TV has amazing picture quality - better than any other I've used or seen for a projector outside of a movie theater.It's super easy to set up to get started, and we tested it on a few different walls in our home. Some were light colored and one was very dark in color - and they all showed the picture fantastically with great detail and extremely large pictures with wonderful color and vibrancy. That said, if you're able to project this onto a perfectly smooth and flat projector screen, that's obviously even better - using this on walls can be a little awkward, depending on the texture and smoothness of the wall itself.You can easily use this during the daytime if you need to, but it should go without saying that something like this is just going to look better when it's darker. I was still amazed at how brightly it still displayed the picture - and how detailed - even with the lights on, however. Again - much better than any other projector I've seen or used.The speaker is surprisingly good for a projection device such as this one, and I honestly have no complaints with it. It's not going to be Bose or premium quality, but it can get decently loud and stays fairly clear while watching shows and movies - even action ones. We've owned projectors of lesser quality over the years, and let's just say that when they did include a speaker, we were really motivated NOT to use it and hook up something else, because it just didn't sound great. This one actually is sufficient and does the job well if you don't have room or inclination to take extra speakers along if you are using this during your travels.For the quality of the picture, the fact that you get a smart device to stream your favorite shows, and the speaker working well, this is a nice all-in-one device you can use wherever there's a wall or space to project it onto. I love that it's not too large to take with us traveling, and it's so darn simple to use. It's very intuitive with the remote(s), especially if you already have accounts set up with Netflix and other streaming apps.Speaking of remotes, you will receive two of them. One is for the Android Smart TV device, and one is for the projector itself. Batteries are included for both of them to help get you started quickly. You do NOT have to use the Android Smart TV device on this, and can choose instead to hook up anything using HDMI. We have a Roku streaming stick that we prefer to use, and it worked perfectly on it.On the whole, this is a fantastic projector that gets "movie-theater detailed" with the picture display, and we really couldn't be happier with it. My husband was looking and researching into similar projector types recently, so I was excited to get this and check it out - especially since we were in the market for one. It works great indoors, and I can't wait for the weather to warm up so we can get a projection screen and use this outside to enjoy, as well. Our entire family loves it, so it certainly gets two thumbs up from us! It's worth every penny in terms of picture quality and ease of use!
