Review on π K&N Premium Oil Filter for HYUNDAI/KIA/SUBARU/HONDA: Engine Protection & Compatibility (HP-1004) by Mark Bennett
Frustrated frequent user.
Autozone confirmed to me that the design has recently changed. The top one in the photo is old, two months old. The bottom is new. From 8 to 5 holes. The thick O-ring becomes round and narrow. The sealed protective film on the filter has disappeared, which means dirt can get there during transport. I have been using this filter in a racing application for many years. Never thought this would come with K&N.
