Great thing and so easy.

My kiwi parrot is CRAZY ABOUT IT! Liked it on day one. Together with him I give him Vogelbrot, which he also loves. He runs around the counter screaming and chirping like he just won the lottery. I heat the cooked porridge and bread in a micro for 10-15 seconds. And it's set for the next 24 hours. 1 tablespoon of puree and 1 bread, broken in two pieces. So easy.

  • Pretty package

My birds love this stuff

My birds are very happy I bought this. I have to admit it's a bit painful and I've been cooking it for a long time. The husband kept asking what he was cooking and when it would be. I told him it was birdseed. He wasn't very happy with it. I know it's good when my parrot makes a huge mess on the bars of his cage. Must be tasty. Even the parrots seem to like it. Highly recommended.

Eclectus parrots love it!

A 5 year old Eclectus Parrot has recently joined our family. He was fed only semen and kept locked in a cage. We're working on removing the seeds (cure only) and adding lots of fruits, veggies, and beans. He's very picky, so I was skeptical about this mix. Well he's obsessed! It was easy to do and he ate whatever he was given. Thank you for developing this product and helping Kiwi get healthy again!

Baby Blue is happy, just like her mom!

My Indian Ringneck loves it! I make a large batch and put them in ice cube trays. I bought Revain ice trays with plastic lids. She will eat it just like that, with fresh fruits and vegetables, or with seeds. She likes it very much. I love that it's easy to make and lasts a long time as I give her 1 to 2 cubes a day depending on what other fresh or human foods I buy her. When taken out of the ice cube tray, it's ready to eat in 10-15 seconds, just make sure it's not too hot!

Pros
  • A sea of positive emotions
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

MY ECLECTUS THINK IT'S THE BOMB!

My Eklektus Zeus loves this food very much. He stomps around in his cage in the morning until I put him in his bowl, then he devours it like a rabid dog. He enjoys it more than fruit. Now I will talk about the disadvantages. The preparation takes a lot of time. You should soak the beans overnight and then cook them for 1 1/2 to 2 hours the next day. It is best to prepare a large batch and freeze portions of cooked food. I like to use ice cube trays to freeze portions. I will definitely continue

I love what my Revain loves

My parrot doesn't like porridge and this product doesn't fall apart. I don't bother with overnight soaking and simmering. I put it in my Instant Pot, water it well and cook it naturally for 60 minutes. The only thing that's a little harsh is the corn kernels, which are like big unpopped popcorn. I cook enough to last a few days in the fridge (about 3/4 cup). My revane seems to like it a lot. Almost done with my first bag and reordered. I like how it's handled. Grains, beans, etc. are clean…

Fits my Eclectus Parrot

I bought this for my Eclectus Parrot. He likes it and it suits him. The only thing is that there aren't many big beans like pintos or other big red beans (not sure about the name). It was mainly small peas, small lentil beans and rice. So I added my Peruvian beans and pinto beans. You need to soak it for at least 8 hours for it to cook. If you soak it for just a few hours, it will cook a lot longer and won't come out quite right. So I soak it overnight and start cooking it in the morning. I…

Perfect base for parrot chop

Soak and Simmer is the best prepared mix for feeding and garnishing fresh fruit and vegetables. Unlike some other cooking and serving products that contain refined rice and/or couscous etc., this product is non-sticky and therefore will not contaminate your bird's cage and feathers. Please don't underestimate the importance of this fact: sticky cooked grains can result in sticky feathers, which can lead to skin irritation, infection and feather picking! With that in mind, I'd like to point out…

  • Long lasting coating

  • Hard to tell

Wow! My birds loved it! I definitely recommend this healthy mix.

This seed mix is amazing! Following the directions, I put 2 tablespoons of Featherglow on some paper towels and my cockatiel immediately jumped out of the cage and started chewing on it. Then I put some of my budgies in a cage and they started trying different flavors and textures. While some birds enjoyed it more than others I can say it was a win! And bird seed mixes are one of the healthiest foods you can feed them, so I definitely recommend buying this mix. For anyone wondering how I made…
