Exactly what we wanted

We've had this rug pad for about two weeks under a new 7'x10' rug on hardwood floors. We trimmed it to fit perfectly. It's added a nice bit of padding and kept the rug firmly in place despite the high traffic area and three active kids. Nice quality and zero odor. Big plus that it is made in USA too.

Pros
  • Product has the best ability of securing rugs to hardwood floors and also giving a soft feel to the rug.
Cons
  • NOT AS SHOWN !!!!!!!!! I could buy what I recieved at a local home store for 20$ !!!

low profile and effective

we needed a pad that wouldn't add a lot of hight to the rug so that a door would open over it, this pad works great. That's my feedback.

Pros
  • LOW PROFILE: 15oz/sq.yd. felt + 15oz natural rubber. Compact, but comfortable 1/8" pile. Used where clearance may be required and concealability desired.
Cons
  • The product may not be eco-friendly

No More Risky Business Over Here

I read a lot of reviews before purchasing this and while most of them were positive, I was still skeptical. I have a reversible braided rug in a high traffic area that sits on tile. That sucker slid around so much so that I almost fell a few times just walking across it. Not ideal, so I knew I needed something in order to avoid guests having the same issue. Let me tell you, this thing does not move! I ran across my kitchen and tried to Risky Business this bad boy.NOTHING! Bonus that it doesn't…

Pros
  • Helps to extend the life of your area rugs by preventing wear and tear
Cons
  • May not be suitable for larger or heavier rugs

Definitely stops rug movement

This rubberized felt pad was exactly the size of the hallway runner rug that the cats ran over to and slid against the wall - causing ripples and serious trip hazard. Hasn't budged now. Yay! Will buy two others for bedroom rugs.

Pros
  • The pad is used under an 8 x 11' Tibetan are rug .
Cons
  • May not provide enough traction for high traffic areas

Nice quality: my feedback

fits our runner perfectly and it holds the rug in place - hope it does not adversely affect the wood floor, but so far so good

Pros
  • My rug used to slip and slide on the wooden floor. Now it stays and looks great. Love it!
Cons
  • Ok

Great quality pad in my review

This pad makes such a difference. Gives just enough cushion to the rug yet doesn't add obvious height or gap from floor to rug. Rug doesn't shift at all yet the pad doesn't "stick" to the hardwood floor. I feel good that the pad isn't compromising the finish on the hardwood floor but I guess, time will tell on that. Pad was surprisingly easy to trim to fit the rug.

Pros
  • Perfect! Good quality for price.
Cons
  • The product may not be durable enough for high-use areas

cushy rug pads: my feedback

my rugs are so much cushy now and more stable. I added tape between the pad and rug to make it even more secure on the tile The product may be overhyped or overpriced!

Pros
  • Tightly woven design helps to prevent rug bunching or slipping out of place
Cons
  • The product may be overhyped or overpriced

High quality good for me

Really nice quality. Our run is in the living room, but is a indoor/outdoor rug. This pad really increases the comfort underfoot.

Pros
  • QUALITY: Manufactured in the USA from the highest quality materials. Cri Green label and leed certified pad.
Cons
  • May not be suitable for outdoor use

MADE IN THE USA! for my opinion

I think I mis-measured because I had to cut so much off all the way around. I love the products, my rugs do not slide when my dog plays in the house. Thank you for having MADE IN THE USA products. That was my main reason for selecting your company and product.Zudie

Pros
  • LONG LASTING: Made with high quality fibers which do not fray, along with a natural rubber coating which lasts longer and grips better than some PVC alternatives.
Cons
  • The pad may release harmful particles when disturbed or moved

RugPadUSA always feels good undercoot

Rug pad USA always knows which pad to recommend to match your rug to the floor. I recently bought the Eco-plush pad 1/4 inch thick for a 9 x 12 flat weave and then the Contour pad 1/8 inch for a 10 x 14 sisal. My only disappointment: while the 9 x 12 was cut a few inches shorter on all sides so the rug would perfectly fit over the edges of the pad, the contour pad was cut the exact size as the rug requiring us to cut it down.

Pros
  • Home Décor Products
Cons
  • The pad may be too thin to protect against sharp or heavy objects

Nice and economical rug pad

Very nice rug pad. Completely anti-slip and nice pad. Less costly than the local Persian rug store. Using this for a 4’x6’ hand knotted wool rug on a laminate floor.

Pros
  • Bought two of the pads for antique area rugs on wooden floors. They add softness and stop slippage.
Cons
  • The product is expensive, priced higher than other available rug pads

Works with my roomba 😊

It’s the perfect thickness under my rug. I trimmed it so it’s 3” smaller on all sides and my roomba can negotiate it. Easy to trim, good padding and my rug doesn’t move.

Pros
  • Suitable for use with a wide range of rug styles and sizes
Cons
  • May not provide enough thermal insulation

Best use under large rugs

Item is exactly as described in post. I have determined that these are best used under large rugs only. Runners and 3' x 5' rugs need the thin rubber pads. Runners slide on top of this pad, with cats taking off at run and normal walking.

Pros
  • A great amount of cushion without being overly thick.
Cons
  • The padding may break down over time, reducing its longevity

Great pads on my review.

I purchased 3 pads for my hardwood floors. After they worked so well, I piurchased another. I called to get advice on pads for runners and the one suggested works perfectly. Very good product and quick shipping!

Pros
  • Rug Pads
Cons
  • The pad may promote mold or mildew growth

Does a good job though

A little larger than the rug that I ordered even though they are supposed to be the same size. Will have to cut. Does a good job though.

Pros
  • These don’t stain your wood floor, which the cheap plastic grids did. Nice padding. Easy to cut
Cons
  • May not be suitable for use on all floor types

Great pad and price

Great pad at a great price. It arrived quickly. It's substantial but not overly thick. These pads do a great job of filtering dust and debris away from the rug. Just roll pad and rug back and vacuum the dust up.

Pros
  • Nice and thin, like we needed. Good quaility
Cons
  • The pad may add unnecessary weight to the rug

Wow! It truly works

Edit 11/28/21 to add:The chemical smell dissipated after a few weeks. I’ve since bought 2 more and have used 1 of them under the rug in my living room. This one I had to cut but I knew that when I bought it. The rug is a handmade vintage kilim, so it’s an odd size. Once again the strong chemical smell was present for a few weeks but has since dissipated. If you are sensitive to smells, I would definitely let it air out before using it.I included a pic for reference this time. We no longer are…

Pros
  • fantastic i will be back
Cons
  • The pad may move around under the rug, reducing its effectiveness

This is a great carpet pad

My rug was not the size advertised and neither was the pad. I have to trim the pad but only on one side. This is a high end pad, similar to the ones sold by my local high-end oriental carpet cleaning specialist, D.A. Burns.

Pros
  • Can help to reduce noise and vibration, creating a more peaceful atmosphere
Cons
  • The product may not be versatile enough for different styles or rooms

The best rug pad! on my review.

Best rug pad for my original oak hardwood floors. Very well made, good quality, and can be cut to size. This rug pad may cost more than other pads out there but hardwood floors are expensive and you need to buy from a company that knows how to take care of your floors correctly. See Rug Pad USA's site to learn what type of pad to use for your flooring needs.

Pros
  • Easy to clean and maintain with regular vacuuming or spot cleaning
Cons
  • The pad may not provide adequate protection for valuable or delicate rugs

It is a rug pad but …

I ordered 3 different sizes of this rug pad two much larger and one runner pad. The two larger pads seemed to have a slight stickiness to them that would keep the rug from sliding around but the smaller runner size doesn’t have the stickiness be prepared to purchase double sided rug tape so your runner doesn’t slide around.

Pros
  • did fine
Cons
  • May have a chemical odor upon opening the package
