The best price for such a product, I will buy more!

In general, a functional piece of iron with great features for little money. On a well-known ad site you can find 2 times cheaper. Although I don’t like Mikrotik because of the intricacies of the settings (for example, VLAN), it’s very difficult to find something similar in terms of functionality, price and reliability. Even if you can’t set it up, very detailed documentation on the manufacturer’s website and a bunch of examples on the Internet, it’s better to check the examples with the…

    Pros
    • Very compact router. Fully supports PoE, quite a powerful transmitter. Powerful processor inside. Convenient magnetic mount. When using the Powerline MikroTik PWR-Line adapter, you can build a network through household 220 from several access points and cover the entire house or apartment if one point is not enough. With the help of CAPsMAN we provide roaming between points. It turns out a wireless network with a large coverage and distribution of clients between points. RouterOS allows you to do quite a lot, but you need to know and understand what you are doing.
    Cons
    • What I write next refers to the OS, not the device. For most people, this is a very difficult setup. If you are not ready to delve into the wilds of settings, either do not buy this home, or find someone who can easily set it up. VLAN settings in Mikrotik deserve special mention. Why did it have to be so complicated?

A good quality product, I rate this purchase perfectly.

The smallest WiFi access point from Mikrotik is mAP Lite, which is about the size of a matchbox. This is a complete device running RouterOS. Powered by microUSB, one network interface, one WiFi. You can make a radio bridge, you can access an access point (supports CAPsMAN seamless roaming technology), you can use a router ("on a stick" or WiFi). It is convenient to use for spectral analysis of the 2.0-2.5GHz band with a laptop. Also, this device is used to configure servers to which it is…

I'm very happy with the product, it's very satisfying.

The device is great. Ideal for remote configuration of equipment and for connecting temporary wired Internet to a custom server. And that's just some of the applications.

    Pros
    • Ultra-compact access point with full RouterOS on board. Customize as you like. And as a bridge and as a station, as an access point and as a repeater. There is a magnet for mounting on a stand. There is a poe.
    Cons
    • Perhaps support for only one WiFi 2.4 GHz band

Overall good, but I expected more, there are disadvantages.

1/3 speed. I can krivoruk of course, but how is it? I use it as a router. An internet cable is plugged into it. Wifi speed 30mb/s. On a straight line (measured with a laptop) 100. It's a shame, scribe. : figured it out, you just need to fine-tune (change the frequency to a free one) I had 15 different routers within the access radius. They hit the frequency. I changed the frequency, not the channel, it became 60-80. I'm ok. 2. After a while, the speed again became 25-30. The Internet is also…

Best price for this product, will buy more!

In general, the device is sufficient for use as a home WiFi router. The processor is powerful enough to distribute WiFi and service the FastEthernet 100Mb / s port. On the same processor, devices from Mikrotik actually pulled 70-80Mb / s on torrents via L2TP. Pros below: The size is slightly larger than a matchbox. Good range: 68m2 covers without problems. Powered by micro USB, which allows you to power the device from the USB port of the computer, subject to the purchase of the appropriate…

This device was bought solely to increase the communication range. It was necessary to connect two offices, the distance between which was 160 meters (as you know, twisted pair can only transmit up to 100 meters, and even then in ideal conditions) This box was installed exactly in the middle (i. E. 80 meters on one side and 80 meters on the other) in a waterproof box. I didn’t have to supply food. was powered from the head unit using PoE technology. This solution was implemented two years ago…

    Pros
    • Reliability (set it and forget it) Power supply PoE (for me it was the main criterion) Small (very compact)
    Cons
    • Few ports (but for my task more than)

I took it to create a seamless coating in the bunker office in the basement. There are quite a lot of manuals on the Internet, but you need to understand what you are doing. Please note that there are no firewall rules in the factory configuration, but they appear when resetting to default settings. In recent firmware versions, the default network port is configured as WAN. In other words, after the reset, you can see the microt in the winbox, but it will cut all external connections. The…

Exactly as promised by the manufacturer, high quality.

Some pros: Small, pretty, can be powered by poe (passive, not 802.3af / at) and via micro usb, inside a full-fledged router, you can attach it to something iron. Cons below: It heats up noticeably, inside the routeros with the appropriate interface for connoisseurs, there is no 5GHz.

Exactly as promised by the manufacturer, high quality.

A good solution for those who need only Wi-Fi, and there are no plans to connect to the router via cable. You can take it on trips, it will work from a laptop and various power banks. Experimenters: I noticed that after some experiments, including through Winbox, etc. for some reason, the Internet has become unstable, videos with delays, pictures in social networks are slowly loading. Because From the settings I only have passwords, then I reset the device and configured it only through the…

    Pros
    • Very compact! Powered by micro USB very convenient. Covers a one-two room apartment perfectly. A bit warm when working. I think not warmer than 35-40 degrees. Remember that the temperature of the device is always slightly higher than the temperature in the room) For greater stability and less heat, I set the processor frequency to a minimum of 550 megahertz. With normal surfing from two devices and a slow torrent, the processor load is 3-5% with a maximum of about 10%. Works stably. Set and forget. Interface in English and "without pictures". For home use, the first page is enough. There are basic settings and a link to ates. And it comes with a fabulous 1A micro USB power supply. Normal thickness wire 1.5 meters long. So far, this is the most convenient charging (along the length of the wire) that I have seen. I took it right away to charge the phone, the router got a short telephone)
    Cons
    • Comes with small self-adhesive rubber feet. I don't understand why they weren't glued right away. I pasted it myself. Takes a minute or less) I did not find other "flaws"!

The best thing Ive ever used, a great item for everyone!

A usb modem is connected to it, which in turn is connected to a street antenna past. All this stuff has been working for three years without interruption in the country. Moreover, in a tightly sealed box attached to the antenna. Powered by POE from another Mikrotik. To be honest, I don’t even know if it’s warming up there, something or not, and what is the temperature in the box in winter. It just works. There have been no problems in three years. Sometimes I ate to a newer firmware version…

    Pros
    • Compactness. Ability to customize in any mode. POE power.
    Cons
    • There is none of them.

The best price for such a product, I will buy more!

Good afternoon I bought this device in order to get rid of 220v and leave a small, almost invisible box on the wall in the corridor. The setup took about 4 minutes. I connected it via cable to my laptop - I found WiFi and connected, configured it. The setup interface is quite simple and intuitive. Everything is on one page (1 tab). During operation, the only negative (which I was afraid of) is the low speed. Apartment kopeck piece on 2 sides 58 sq. M. Microt hangs in the middle in the corridor.

    Pros
    • - Small - Easy to set up
    Cons
    • - signal range is too small - the speed of the Internet connection is several times less than the speed of the WiFi connection

    Revainrating 3 out of 5

It's not all bad, an average quality purchase.

Due to problems with the repair, I had to abandon the "cable" Internet in favor of WiFi. The default router could not cope with covering the entire apartment, and the workplace moved to where there are no wires, we need to work, we buy this baby and plug it into a smart TV outlet, connect it via a PoE adapter. Everything works, we are happy. After a while, I noticed that the point is incredibly hot and starts to lose packets, this is clearly visible if you copy files within the network and use…

    Pros
    • Small size, PoE, magnetic mount
    Cons
    • Low throughput, gets hot

The world's smallest all-in-one router? No seriously.

Wow the photos don't do it justice even with this size comparison. It's small. Oh man. The size of a matchbox. It's so great to have all this power in such a small device that fits in your pocket. How easy is it in your pocket. It could almost be a keychain. If you like Mikrotik and Router OS, you must have this one. You can power it with anything from a POE or microUSB battery. You can turn it on in the basement where you don't have cell service or Wi-Fi, and you're back online and behind your

    Overall nice little device

I installed this device in my home as a low power dedicated spotlight camera hotspot. My other cameras are connected and powered via PoE, so the mAP lite is like a spotlight on my wired network. The FCC ID is TV7MAPL2ND if you want to check the guts before you buy. I initially had trouble connecting to the web interface as the documentation turned out to be a bit ahead of its time. Updating the firmware followed by a factory reset causes the device to behave as described in the documentation…

Great concept but as a WiFi device (its main purpose) it's way behind

I bought one of these to test as an access point for use in my PFSense firewall setup. It's a surprisingly simple device with a lot of potential, but it's slow and doesn't live up to its end goal (WiFi). How simple? Inside the plastic case you will find: - Qualcomm QCA9531-BL3A-R router chip (believed to be <500MHz) - Nanya BT5Tu32M16FG-AC 512MB DDR2 RAM chip - Winbond W25Q128FV 16MB flash memory and some competition for accessory components. All in a package the size of 2 matchboxes stacked

Incorrect documentation. Default Configuration - Bridge Access Point

Physical Hardware: Pretty cool. The device is tiny. The built-in magnet and sticky pad are a nice touch. The design of the ethernet port makes it a bit awkward to carry around in your pocket/bag as it can get snagged. I wasted a lot of time on this because I wanted to set it up before putting it online. Finally, you tried a Windows machine and its Winbox utility to find out that the IP address is not set by default. Resetting the configuration was a waste of time because it uses bridge access…
