Bought these for a specific rounded off nut. Showed up two days later. Hammered it on and the grippers pulled the nut right off.

Attempted to removed a stripped transmission bellhousing bolt, but it didn't work at all. Didn't even budge, and the extractor kept slipping off the bolt. I had the correct size bolt, but the extractor didn't do anything. I will return them.

Seam to be decent quality expensive for being made in China. I have no complaints yet the 10mm came through when I had a rounded off exhaust bolt saves trying to get the welder out and all that. For the price I hope they last me years to come only time will tell

I got this kit to help with removal of stripped and rounded off bolts after having to grind off a few bolt heads. I like that this kit uses stronger impact sockets.

Where have these been all my life?!?! If you are a wrench turner living in the salt belt, working on rusted vehicles/machinery, you need this set. I have never, not once, wrote a review where I say you should buy something, this changes all that.These sockets are a godsend, and have saved my bacon many times over. tried to get a rounded fastener for a Jeep TJ upper shock mount first using a chrome 6-point socket. that did not work so I bought this set. The socket in here (13 MM?) had it out with no stress or drama in 15 seconds.

First use of the 8mm rounded out the socket. These are complete junk and I would not recommend them. I was using a regular ratchet not even an impact.

These bolt extractors are a life saver, seriously!Whenever you're trying to pull an engine with a million bolts in hard to reach places, it's not uncommon to strip a bolt or find one that has rusted into oblivion after 230,000 miles of not being touched. I received these last week and my coworker and i have used them almost everyday since. They’re well made and work extremely well especially for the price. The fact that they work in both directions is very helpful too.

I bought some turbo sockets for 3 times the price of these off the tool trucks that come to my shop and they are garbage compared to these. I haven’t had a bolt or nut that I haven’t been able to remove with these sometimes heat is still needed. They grip amazingly and don’t get rounded off when beat on with a hammer like my expensive turbo sockets. Also you can say screw the next guy and reinstall said damaged nut or bolt. Gear wrench killed it with these bad boys.

The assortment of sizes is awesome and the tools work like a charm. I have always had great experiences with gearwrench branded tools.

They work good if used with a wrench or ratchet, but as soon as you put an impact on them the teeth wear off. I tried getting one stuck bolt out and the extractor slipped, so I went down a size and used an impact. Extractor needs warrantied now after one use.
