Works perfectly! in label printer

I've been using them for years and between two types of labels they are extremely flexible. You can even get durable labels (BOPP) that will last for years, even outdoors! And smaller vinyl labels hold up in all weathers.

Pros
  • trial period for one year
Cons
  • I don't remember but there was something

Buy 2 separate printers, not all in one. Cheaper too.

I like that there are 2 printers in the machine. I never managed to get the little label printer to work properly, when I called the company they said they had a problem with the printer software.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Hard to say

Works well. The user-friendly software is thoughtfully configured to facilitate most common tasks. Some can be improved. but you can probably do almost anything by printing from MS Word, Excel or some other program with some experimentation. The Tap Writer part should provide more flexibility for what is typed to print.

  • New

Better than I expected!

This little label printer works better than I expected. It's fast - the first label comes out in less than 2 seconds. It doesn't use the default printer driver (which makes sense). It took the DYNO software a few seconds to figure it out, but it didn't need a manual - just play around a bit. 5 minutes later - it was surprisingly productive. Every small office should have one - 1000x better than trying to print multiple labels on one sheet and align them correctly.

Pros
  • Very Good Price
Cons
  • Almost OK

Terrible quality barcodes :-( Unscannable

D1 tape (no labels but a tape that can be fed into this machine) The print quality is excellent with plain text. BUT. terrible with barcodes! See attached Image Terrible. I used the included "starter" roll of 1" D1 tape. It's useless - the barcodes won't scan. I can't find any examples online of what the D1 tape barcodes should look like, so I'm not sure if it's just a bad block or not.Very frustrating!

Pros
  • Handy thing
Cons
  • Disappearing

Don't expect it to work properly.

The printer has two functions: to print large shipping labels and smaller ribbon labels (for file folders, etc.). The shipping label portion works fine, but the smaller tape label doesn't work at all. We were told to purchase other tapes and did so - to no avail, forcing us a few days past the Revain return date. We bought DUO, i.e. dual-function, and got MONO, i.e. single-function. This is unacceptable.

Pros
  • Easy Install
Cons

Dymo printer I recommend them

I like my Dymo Labelwriter 450 Duo thermal printer. This is my second. I messed up an undercutter after it jammed after 12+ years of use. I think it's a pretty good amount of time/usage, although I screwed up. Maybe I could fix it without damaging it, I'm not sure. Haven't used this new one much yet, but I'm sure with the branding I'll be using it again for many years to come. I recommend this to all of us who love labeling things, have a business, etc. (OCD). lol thanks everyone. :)

Pros
  • good stuff
Cons
  • something else

Reliable printer for various purposes.

I have been using Dymo LabelWriter 450 Duo printers for many years. I inherited the first one from a colleague about 12 years ago. I replaced it when it eventually died, not sure how long my colleague had it. Now maybe 10 years later a replacement has finally arrived so it didn't print well on the ribbon and cleaning didn't help. I ordered a new one and as soon as I ran the software (Dymo Label v.8) the new printer worked perfectly. I label boxes for projects, incoming repairs, anything with…

Pros
  • great product
Cons
  • not sure

Most (but not all) programs do not work

My Dymo 330 has stopped printing. All labels are printed blank. So I bought a new improved Dymo 450 DUO with twice the firepower! It prints both labels and ribbons! However, the new "DYMO Connect" software does not work. It doesn't recognize the tape printer, so I was only able to print labels. So I went back to my old "Dymo Label" software, which recognized both the label printer and the tape printer! But when I printed on the ribbon, it jammed at first and all the text on the ribbon was black

Pros
  • Great for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Repair
