Review on HONOR MagicWatch 2 Smartwatch 46mm Charcoal Black by Andrey Orlovski ᠌

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Not a good product, not worth the money.

It would be an understatement to say that I am disappointed with the purchase. The only purpose for which I purchased this watch was so that I could jog while running in the aerobic zone, managing my heart rate to stay within the allotted ranges, and simultaneously listen to music on Bluetooth headphones from the watch while leaving my phone at home. The audio is HORRIBLE! I'll have to get a different player or a lightweight smartphone as a result. I tried using Bluetooth to connect to both my large Edifier speakers and my JBL speakers, but the results were the same: the sound quality is horrible. They also make the music flat and noisy because the watch doesn't have any adjustment settings. It turns out that I merely purchased a watch to keep track of the time and regulate my heart rate. Of course, they manage, but the sound quality is awful, and to my musical ear, more than a minute is simply not long enough to capture how distorted everything is.

Pros
  • - Internal memory is available (but the devil knows why, obviously not for music); - The charge is enough for a long time if you turn off all unnecessary services; - Heart rate reads adequately, if we take a time interval of 3-5 seconds, then the average value is close to the real one, this is enough for a clic aerobic run. - Stylish and moderately flat. - Two bracelets included: brown and black (see photo). Naturally, it is preferable for professional athletes to use an abdominal strap.
Cons
  • - Menu processing takes a little longer than usual, requests aren't always fulfilled right once, and OOOooooochen data (music) takes a while to transfer from the phone to the watch. 28 tracks totaling 200 MB in size were transmitted in around 15 minutes; - Music can only be downloaded through a phone. the files must first be uploaded to the phone in a folder before being transferred to the watch using the phone's application; The sound quality that is communicated to the headphones is horrible; it is far more enjoyable to listen to music on the phone that has been equalized while exercising than it is to hear this flat sound with clock noise (see below for details).
