It doesn't protect your investment. Mine was locked on my desk at work and within a week someone was pushing the corner of the wedge up and over the screw (where the lock goes in) and then just snapped the metal in half. They left with my brand new 15" MBP, albeit with half a Maclock stuck to the bottom! The only plus for me was that it was a work computer that I hadn't saved anything to since it was so new. Cons: It just doesn't work. Stay away from it. I saw another product that looked *disgusting* like a roller coaster lapbar, but at least looked more solid!
