Description of Wi-Fi bridge Ubiquiti LiteBeam 5AC Gen2, white

LiteBeam 5AC-Gen2, like almost all second generation airMax devices, has a built-in WiFi service module. Using it, you can access the equipment settings using a regular smartphone or tablet. This innovation is especially convenient in situations where the access point configuration needs to be urgently adjusted, but there is no access to a PC.

I am satisfied with the purchase, I easily got the Internet into a private house 2 km from the city. The only difference with a wired connection is a slight increase in ping from 4ms to 10ms.

Pros
  • Quick and convenient installation, both on the mast and on the antenna bracket (I installed a plastic one from Mikrotik). PoE adapter included. Connection stability (however, I have a short distance), maintaining a high speed.
Cons
  • Not found yet.

In the 2022 configuration, the gland is a gasket where you thread the cable without a cut, and in Euro it is already cut, the main thing I realized this when I was already standing on the stairs at an 8-meter height! I think for the 2022s they do it on purpose, so that our nerves are wasted!

Pros
  • Ease of installation. Ease of setup. All as in the picture! The connection light is very bright at night)
Cons
  • Bought in different stores. As it turned out, at a discount, I didn’t see that one turned out to be for Euro, the other for American sockets))) Fortunately, I had older, smaller transmitters, in general, I put the plug on a friend and work fine.

A valuable purchase, some advantages!

Reliability of the link, in strong winds, with a base station, Almost 60 such devices work, no problems have been identified, the setup is simple, interference to other devices is minimal, I would say practically absent. We buy in NANAIKI satisfied.

Excellent product, the best quality.

installed this equipment for the first time. I have experience in building and configuring networks, but I have encountered such equipment for the first time. no problems arose. very satisfied

Got pros: Compact in box, low weight, easy to set up, normal bracket compared to gen 1, second radio to set up, ct capability, high speed, good gain, MIMO 2x2, gigabit port, blah blah blah and so on, in general Ubiquity . Got cons: no 80 MHz in PTMP. Some types from their forum were able to unlock. If you can share the manual how exactly - write. Well, compared to mikrotiks, there is much less functionality, but the radio works better. The second radio is purely for tuning, but could make it fu
