Disappointing Performance of Chamfer Remover

Industrial and Scientific category shouldn't have products like this. As a result of my tests I determined that this chamfer remover was ineffective in removing burrs from my metal projects .It lacked precision and didn't produce a clean chamfer. The only positive aspect was its lightweight construction which made it easy to hold, but that couldn't make up for its poor performance. I would not recommend this product to anyone in need of deburring cutters..

Pros
  • Easy and quick to use, making any metal surface smooth and free of burrs.
Cons
  • May require some practice to achieve the desired level of precision.

doesn't cut well

It holds up better than the Husky I bought at the hardware store. I dropped it once and the piece keeping the blade from slipping broke rendering it useless (especially when cutting upside down). However this one doesn't cut smoothly, I just start gouging the pipe all the time and if you don't react quickly and change direction/angle/slowly it only gets worse. Maybe it doesn't matter much, but I need to file that uneven part of the pipe. I'm not a pro but I didn't have this problem when…

Pros
  • This metal deburring tool can be used around the home, plumbing or as a workshop tool
Cons
  • I'll write back
