At first the circles were in several holes with metal splinters. I wanted to return or exchange them but quickly realized they are non-refundable. I thought of looking for a metal file to smooth the edges, but it didn't fit in any of the holes. I just go to Joann, Michael's or Hobby Lobby and buy the plastic version of it. Attention buyers - This purchase is NON-REFUNDABLE. Read the description and the tiles carefully.

Thin metal -- bends easily -- not as pictured

I've had one of these for about 8 years and it's sturdy, very well made and will probably last forever. Passed it on to my daughter and bought another from Revain. This one is so cheap. When I open the plastic cover it flexes, and if I don't lay it flat it flexes again. I also received a different version than the one in the photo. This one has holes for size 0-25 needles, which is different than what is shown in the picture. This works for measuring needle sizes, but when you have a prettier…

Don't take that thin metal sensor!

This spoke size barely lives up to the advertised specs. If you choose this sensor, it's made of metal, which bends easily and is difficult to straighten. It cannot be stored without supports on both sides, as any pressure will bend the metal. Since it bends, especially at the weak points around the measuring holes, it will never be able to measure correctly here again unless you take a pair of pliers and carefully straighten the hole. Also, although I didn't think about it before buying, the…

Did not receive the product as shown.

I ordered two of these for beginner knitters because I've had one for years and love it. However, the two that came are not at all like the photo. There are additional holes for measuring much larger needles, so most of the surface area is occupied by holes, the edges of which are very sharp. I tried to love them but didn't feel like they were a product I wanted to give to anyone; Unfortunately I waited too long and closed the return window. So take it from me, if yours comes with big holes and

Best Need for Knitting & Crocheting

Can't believe it took me all these years to buy one of these but this is a must have for knitters and crocheters alike. I don't see numbers/letters on most of my hooks and needles because they wear out and I often have to guess what size I'm using. This saved me from constantly checking the website I bought them from for hooks to find out what color I need. I know I could organize them, but let's face it, they're in a bag or attached to projects, so they don't care about organization. This has…

Size is excellent, arrived bent due to poor packaging

This is a cute cut and dried item as described. Packed by the manufacturer in a typical plastic case with a cardboard lid, a hole for the spindle where it will hang on a shelf in a hardware store. It was mailed in one of those lightly padded white envelopes. BAD NEWS, it arrived with a noticeable crease down the center and was worn down the back as well. I was able to bend it back but if it was much worse it might have cracked. It's cheap and not worth returning, but it's disappointing. These…

Will not fit most crochet hooks

This gauge doesn't really help me confirm hook size as most hooks I have and use don't go through holes. Below I've listed the types of hooks I have and if I can test them with this gauge. SUITABLE: Susan Bates hook (Silvalume and Bamboo handle) Clover Amour hook (ergonomic) DOES NOT FIT: Tulip Etimo (ergonomic) Boye (aluminum) Knitter's Pride Waves (ergonomic) Curtzy (aluminum) EpicBelle (ergonomic) Clover Soft Touch (ergonomic ) I do not intend to return this item as it will be more difficult

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled

It's accurate but a bit subtle. No 7mm hook hole.

Great little item with true measurements. Unfortunately, mine arrived in a damaged condition. Luckily for me it's not the end of the world and I was able to gently manipulate it to bring it closer to the flat state it was meant to be. I'm taking off a star because it's not as reliable as I thought it would be. that's how it should be, and obviously due to the fact that it was corrupted. Another thing and if I take a closer look I would understand that it does not have a size of 7mm, which is…
