Faulty Emissions Valve: Waste of money

After I put it to the test in my automotive repair shop this exhaust and emissions valve turned out to be a complete disappointment. On the positive side, it arrived quickly. However, the cons outweighed that small benefit. The valve did not fit properly, and after installation, it failed to effectively regulate emissions. Such a waste of money on a subpar replacement part! As a new buyer, I would highly recommend avoiding this product for your automotive needs..

Pros
  • The Standard Motor Products EGV818 Valve offers durable and reliable performance.
Cons
  • It's not compatible with all vehicle makes and models.

Product Works Fine, Easy Installation

Based on my experience, this valve works great and was very easy to install. The design and quality seem to be top-notch. My engine is running smoothly and my emissions have improved. The only downside is that it may be a bit expensive compared to other options on the market. Overall I am satisfied with this purchase..

Pros
  • Reliable and efficient performance
Cons
  • Potential difficulty in installation and compatibility

Easy to exchange! - Part

Good part for the money! I bought this for my 2001 Chrysler Town and Country which had a very rough idle. The engine randomly stalled and after some trial and error I noticed that the EGR valve was very old and rusty. After I replaced this part, the van is much better and the gas consumption has increased. The part went in like a breeze as it bolted directly to the top of the engine on the 2001 model. Later Town and Country and Dodd Caravan models have this part just to the left of the engine…
