Best microwave I've ever owned! My technology and cooking illiterate husband loves the smart button. He'll starve before he ever reads instructions, now he can pull things from either the freezer or fridge, hit a button and eat. I personally like the defrost options, chicken and beef roasts don't defrost at the same rates and this accurately accounts for that. So far I am very happy with this product. It has all the features that I wanted except one. It won't let me run a cup of coffee for any time in increments other than 30 seconds or minutes. For instance- 50 second it has to be 30 or just minutes. It was larger than I wanted. We are older and not as strong as we used to be. It is heavy and bulky. Quiet, powerful and easy to operate. Large cooking area well lite. I hope this one lasts longer than other brands i have bought. New microwaves seem to last maybe 3 years or so. Got this to replace a "built-in" microwave that finally died. The old one was not truly build in, but rather sits above a built-in oven in a big hole in the cabinet with some metal trim around it.To start with, the dimensions are a little off. This is my 4th microwave and my 4th Sharp. Wouldn't buy any other brand. They have all worked very well for many years. This one is small enough not to take over the entire counter but large enough to reheat a 9" x 11" casserole. It has a lot more choices in operating modes than the 1st Sharp I owned, and takes a bit longer to figure out, but it does an excellent job. Buy with confidence!
