This set of 5-minute and 15-minute timers is great. The first thing I noticed when I opened the box is how much bigger they were than I was expecting. This is a good thing because they are very sturdy so I'm not worried about them accidentally getting knocked over (like I am with my smaller sand timers). Most of the tea I drink gets steeped for 5 minutes, so I use the blue one mainly for that. The green one gets used for things like helping my 4-year-old understand how long she needs to focus…

I love these sand timers. They can be used for fun/homework/and also time outs.It gives my kids something to look at while they are doing their timed activities. These are well-made and durable even for a 2 year old.

It's large enough and bright enough for me to place it on a shelf and the class can all see the sand sifting through. It can also be placed at a table or desk to help individuals stay on task.

I LOVE these. I use the for time out, math fluency, oe the kids just love making up games with these. They are actually very sturdy, as i k ow, i have a 2 year old, and hes thrown them arounf for days now.not even a scratch.

I was wary because a set of two of these were a bit cheaper than just one of the units from other vendors, they arrived quickly and seem well made. They are much bigger than the lousy sand timers included with board games. These are just over 6" tall and 3" wide. The colors are nice and they meet their accuracy goals (they are sand timers not precision stop watches) Most of these products claim + or - 10% accuracy. My 3 minute unit clocks i at 3:06 pretty good! and the 10 minute unit finishes…

Love these timers! Best purchase because you get two for the price of one. I searched for awhile and these were the best buy. I bought all four timers - 3 min, 5 min, 10 min and 15 min. My 5 year old and her cousin who is 8 LOVE to try to beat the timer while doing their projects. Instead of complaining they don't want to work on math, they ask to turn the timer over again! lol

The timers are very large so make a great visual way to track time. The plastic is thick and durable and both are labeled accurately.

These were a lot larger than I expected. The count down is accurate. Great for my son to have a visual on how much screen time he has left.

Love these sand timers! I initially purchased these because our pediatrician recommended using an hour glass sand timer (from one of our game boxes) to help our child know how long they had to sit at the dinner table. Now I have used them for much for than that! They are great visuals for time. I love the large size which makes it fun and easy to see from across the room and hard to loose. It’s nice and large which we loved. However, the quality control must be slightly lacking, they aren’t level. It leans to one side leaving some sand left behind which is why I took off a mark for accuracy. A little disappointed about that but oh well. We will keep it for our purpose.

I purchased 2 sets for my two ADHD kids, I also use these in counseling. Works great for practicing mindfulness, for a brain break, focus, calming anxiety, assisting in sleeplessness when watching the sand. Highly recommend for students, for timeouts whether for work or discipline, for cooking etc.

Good timers! Price was good and pretty sturdy. I have 6 boys ages 3 to 10 and so far they have held up! My boys love to beat the timers! Would buy again!

When the sand is getting low it sticks to the side of the hourglass. You must tap it to get it all to go through. I was going to return them because it’s a pain but I did not. I would just say it’s a defective design.

These were definitely bigger than I expected and I love it! I’m a therapist and these are perfect to help my clients visualize how much time they have left in session.

They draw the my preschool age grandchildren’s interest about the concept of time and taking turns. Just be careful. Preschoolers will drop things and that when the problem begins. So far, clear packing tape is holding it together.
