Great balls of drying

Love these! I have sensitivities to many laundry products but still want my laundry to be soft and static free. I'm very happy with these dryer balls. Also, they do help with cutting dryer time!

Pros
  • Goodbye dryer sheets!
Cons
  • May lose effectiveness over time without proper maintenance

Great deal! on my review.

Great deal! I was able to drop the drying time for my towels from 90min to 60min! I have yet to figure the time for my other loads. I used cinnamon oil for scenting and they smell wonderful. They could be better at fighting static but overall I like them better than dryer sheets.

Pros
  • saves energy does actually help dry laundry faster....surprise surprise
Cons
  • Can add additional drying time to laundry

Goodbye, Dryer Sheets!

I love these things! The only thing that makes me upset is that I didn't discover them sooner. I've been wasting my money dryer sheets, not knowing how magnificent these are.

Pros
  • Cuts my drying time down by about 15 minutes
Cons
  • May not be suitable for those with sensitive skin

Dry & Fluffy! good for me

These work so well, I quit buying dryer sheets. I can go fragrance free or add a few drops of my favorite essential oil. I've been using them for a while now and they show no signs of wear. So happy I discovered this money saving gem.

Pros
  • Wonderful dryer ball. We no longer use dryer sheets! Will buy again, maybe for gifts!
Cons
  • Can be noisy in the dryer

Dryer balls good for me

I use these with essential oil. Love the way it makes my clothes smell. It's OK to use a lot of balls in the dryer. I've found that if I "layer" the balls and the laundry it does a better job of keeping the clothes from sticking together. Heavy blankets and bedspreads still ball up.

Pros
  • amazing! work great! save money! natural!
Cons
  • May not fully eliminate static cling

Not what I'd hoped for

I loved the idea of getting rid of dyer sheets/fabric softener. Unfortunately, my laundry is still staticky after using this.

Pros
  • Naturally softens fabric & ECO-friendly
Cons
  • Can become discolored or stained over time

Good for cotton, not for synthetics

We bought these because my daughter has eczema, and her dermatologist thought it might help to eliminate dryer sheets. After a month of use, I'd say they're just as good as dryer sheets at fluffing and eliminating static in all-cotton loads. For loads containing synthetic fabrics, they're not nearly as good -- they fluff, but the static is still substantial. This is not a huge issue for us, as we tend towards 100% cotton clothes and linens anyway, but if you have a lot of synthetic fabrics, it…

Pros
  • Works great! Quality product
Cons
  • May not be suitable for use with delicate fabrics

Great Energy & Time Saver

Significantly reduced drying time for sheets and blue jeans. The bag is very handy for storing balls between loads. Thanks for attention!

Pros
  • The best things ever!
Cons
  • Can be expensive compared to other fabric softeners

Works well - my new review

I like these overall but they tend to get stuck in pockets it wrapped in clothing. The only drawback to using them is losing them. Otherwise I think they work pretty well if they don't bounce out of your dryer or get eaten by your clothes.

Pros
  • Loved these so much gave them to my mom and dad as a gift.
Cons
  • May become misshapen over time

Okay in warmer weather.

worked well until it got colder out. Does not do great with static, especially towels, blankets and fleece. I also do not know about cutting down dryer time. Any 'ball' should do that since it moves around things while rolling around in there. We had to go back to dryer sheets for now since our gym shorts/pants were sticking to our legs (static).

Pros
  • Work really well love them!
Cons
  • May not be effective on all fabric types

Drys clothes faster!

I really love these dryer balls. They dry my clothes much faster and my towels are definitely fluffier! Money well spent!

Pros
  • Happy with product
Cons
  • Can leave lint on clothing

Makes a noticeable difference.

These are great - they really work, and the sturdy stuff sack they come in is useful (these guys have a tendency to wander off on their own). When they first arrived, they had a slight smell - I was on the lookout for this based on reviews of competing offerings - but that goes away with their first run through the dryer. There is a modest reduction in drying time, but the real benefit is the evenness of drying - a load is less likely to have a few items that are still damp while everything…

Pros
  • They definetly reduce my drying time and they seem to help with static as long as you dont over drry.
Cons
  • Not as I expected nor as it was advertised.
