Good quality wetsuit for a great price!

I've been diving NeoSport wetsuits since I started diving. Since I live in the northeast, my primary wetsuit is a 7mm NeoSport; actually the very same suit only thicker. When I finally made a trip to warmer waters, I invested in the 3/2mm version. The wetsuit fit just as expected. However, the material stretches a little bit more than my 7mm (makes sense) but ends up a little on the baggy side after a day of diving. Since I don't use the suit for thermal protection as much as as I use it to…

Pros
  • Wetsuits
Cons
  • The wetsuit doesn't offer enough insulation for colder water temperatures

Must purchase good for me

I have used this 5mm suit 12+ times in a quarry at 50-62 degrees. My honest opinion is that I love it. I’ve tested many other suits in the past by renting and found that a 5mm suits my average needs. This 5mm was different. The amount of warmth that I was able to maintain on a cool fall evening was amazing, and pulled it off with what should have been a 7mm. I usually add my 1.5 jacket on top for the extra kick, but was actually somewhat hot in this at a water temp of 57.8 degrees. I recommend…

Pros
  • NEOPRENE: Constructed with premium neoprene to give a soft and comfortable fit.
Cons
  • The stitching on the wetsuit is poor quality and falls apart easily

This suit is awesome thank you.

I absolutely love this wet suit and I’m picky on how they fit truly I ordered a 3xl because my other 7mm is a 3xl however the suit is a little large on me but by very little I’ll probably order a 2xl in the future I’m 6,2 and 220 pounds but I have larger shorlders and legs then most, anyways fantastic suite keept me super warm this morning and I had fast shipping as well it was probably 48 out and 53 in the water, I also have couple buddies that are looking to buy one. Great mobility.

Pros
  • Full Suits
Cons
  • The wetsuit is difficult to clean and maintain

Sturdy build, watch the sizing!

I like the style and it feels sturdy, but I bought the wrong size. I am 6'0" and 175lbs soaking wet. I bought a medium and it restricted my movement too much and was choking me as well. I would recommend that anyone looking to buy this base the sizing primarily off of their height. I have a large replacement on the way and will review that one separately once I get a chance to use it!If the manufacturer is reading this, I would suggest making sizes such as Medium-Long for twigs like…

Great Quality 5mm Wet Suit

I was getting cold toward the end of my dives in my 3/2 mm during Fall / Winter temps in Maui, so I got this to see if it would help, and it does. The fit is good and is actually easier to don / doff than my 3/2, maybe because it is a little more rigid. But it is still Cadillac comfortable. I do not get cold toward the end of my dives like I did with the 3/2 and I stay comfortable throughout each dive. The price is incredible for a wet suit of this quality. The only downside is that I needed to

Pros
  • ‎2010
Cons
  • The price of the wetsuit is too expensive

Revainrating 5 out of 5

By far the best in this and much higher price range

So far I could not be happier with this wetsuit, especially when I look at what I paid ($126). I've done about 10 dives in it so far with temps from 55-66 degrees, I am so comfortable, warm, and maneuverable. It's easy to get on and take off, even by myself, wet or dry. I am 6', 228 lbs, average build and normal proportions, XXL fits me 99% perfect. I'd need to have a suit custom made for me to fit any better I'm sure. I was worried at first about the quality and things like the barely there…

Pros
  • ‎18.6 x 8.1 x 3.8 inches
Cons
  • The neoprene material is too abrasive and causes skin irritation

Nice Suit for the money, wish more sizes were available

Nice suit. Unfortunately I'm an in between size that is not available on Ebay so mine is a little loose around and short up and down. The suit is very comfortable and easy to get in and out of. I now see what people were talking about it having stickers on the knees. The knee protectors are what looks like a thick decal or painted on layer. We'll see how that lasts. I've dove in it several times so far at the local lake and will be taking it to Bonaire just in case I need some thin exposure…

Pros
  • Water Sports
Cons
  • The seams on the wetsuit are too bulky and cause discomfort

1year and 250 hours logged snorkeling in this suit so far

Good price, good product, exactly as advertised. I am 6'2", 250 lbs, 34" inseam and 34" waist, and am sporting the xl (it is snug in the chest but not bad). I snorkel in 34 to 45 degree water down to 45 feet deep in the gulf of Alaska, and I am usually in the water for between 3 and 5 hours at a time. For me this is the lightest I can use without experiencing hypothermia, still have mobility, and it is exactly what I wanted at a price I could handle. This is not an arctic suit nor a pro scuba…

Pros
  • This is a great suit. Water is able to get in around the zipper but that is the only complaint
Cons
  • The wetsuit is too tight and restricts movement

I recently purchased this wetsuit for use while abalone diving on the Northern California coastline. Having never been diving until recently, I wasn't interested in spending a ton of money on an expensive suit that I wasn't certain I would use very often.Based on the price and the decent reviews I went with the Neosport brand for the wetsuit, gloves, hood and boots. I couldn't be more pleased than I am with the products. The wetsuit is well constructed with sturdy seams. The zipper works very…

Pros
  • ‎3.4 Pounds
Cons
  • The sizing of the wetsuit is inaccurate and doesn't fit properly

Nice wetsuit for my opinion

Wetsuit was great, very stretchy and well put together. Ordered it for my very small daughter so while the length was perfect the shoulders and arms were to large so had to return it.

Pros
  • ‎ITEM
Cons
  • The wetsuit smells strongly of chemicals

I bought this to surf lake superior, I had tested the water the week before and my feet stung from the cold. I was very concerned that even with a 7mm suit I would freeze and my plans of finally surf again would be lost. This suit surpassed all my expectations! With the hood and boots I was warm and functional in 50 degree water. I know what it would have been like without it, because I didn't buy the gloves. My hands were number in 15 minstrel, while the rest of me was toasty. I will be buying

Pros
  • ‎China
Cons
  • The wetsuit doesn't offer enough protection from UV rays

Sizing not great for tall fit guys, durable, warm

I'm 6'1, 190, athletic, 33" waist. I ordered the L and wore it last season. It was very warm, easy (for a wetsuit) to get in and out, and very durable. The only challenge was it wasn't long enough in the torso and was either cramping my junk or riding up my rear all the time.So I ordered the XL this season. Same construction, same coloring, everything looked great. I put it on and the length was perfect on the legs, a bit long on the arms, and unfortunately, seriously disproportionately massive

Pros
  • ‎1 year manufacturer
Cons
  • The wetsuit is too stiff and doesn't conform to the body shape

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Good value for the nice/comfortable suit

For 6', 200lb male, it is comfortable fit with some room.Especially the length of arms/legs is definitely longer than necessary.I did not like my old wetsuit with very precise, sometimes tight fit, so I am pleased with extra comfort. The room may not be ideal for some, but free/scuba diving in Northern Cal, it does the job at reasonable cost.

Pros
  • 90% neoprene, 10% nylon
Cons
  • The wetsuit doesn't offer enough support for water sports activities

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Pleasantly Surprised

For exercise, I row my rowboat in the Salem harbor in Salem, MA all year long. I follow up my rowing with a swim in the ocean. This wet suit has saved my soul from the icy cold ocean waters of the Atlantic.

Pros
  • Enhanced Flexibility: The suit offers excellent mobility due to the combination of neoprene and spandex materials used in its construction
Cons
  • The wetsuit doesn't have any reflective material for visibility in low light conditions

Great Price for my opinion

The price is what ultimately got me to buy this wetsuit. I've been diving with it and was concerned about the lack of knee pads, as mentioned by other reviewers. The only time I spent on the bottom on my knees was during my certification dives, so really it's a non issue. The wetsuit fits me well, 5'11" 260lbs, I ordered a size XXL. The only problem I have is with the Velcro near my neck, I always have to have someone help me with it. Oh, and the legs are a little long (non issue), but this…

Pros
  • COMFORT: Using lycra trimmed arm, neck and waist openings allow for extra comfort.
Cons
  • The wetsuit is not durable and wears out quickly

Revainrating 5 out of 5

They are very warm on my review.

Like I say they are very warm. And quite comfortable after you get in them. Stretch and range of motion are limited but to stay warm at a reasonable price I guess that’s to be expected unfortunately I’m so fat now I can’t get in them anyway. But they do seem to be good quality and I had no complaints with them

Pros
  • ‎Women's Lavender
Cons
  • The zipper on the wetsuit is difficult to use and often gets stuck

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Runs large you get what you pay for

Runs large I really liked it but had to return it runs large ordered a 12 way to big so I ended up in a dive shop buying a true 12 and you get what you pay for I didn’t go cheap in the end

Pros
  • ‎Neoprene
Cons
  • The wetsuit is too tight around the neck and can cause chafing

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Good suit for the price.

This is a good wetsuit for the price. As a 7/5mm it does a good job in keeping me warm. The only reason for the 4 star review is neither the wrist or ankle seal. Because of this, water is able to circulate a little reducing its effectiveness. Thankfully im only diving in 65° water and its only for a few months.

Pros
  • Should fit snug, but not too tight
Cons
  • The wetsuit is too hot to wear in warmer weather conditions

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Fit for size 8 good for me

I am 5’3” 125lbs 38” 30” 36” and ordered an eight. It fit pretty well. A little Tight on top and arms and a little looser legs. It folds weird in the crotch, too much material but I think it will be ok. Easy to get in and out of. I haven’t been in water yet but expect it will be warm given thickness.

Pros
  • Various Size Options
Cons
  • The wetsuit doesn't offer any thermal protection for cold water diving

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Zipper is a little tough if you're fat like me LOL

Not bad not bad at all it is thick heavy strong very well-made and warm. And it really helps if you use a dive skin underneath it. Unfortunately my fat ass can't get the back zipper zip up I guess I need to lose a few pounds I am 6 foot 1 260 pounds I should have got the extra extra large I just got the extra large and I'm real close to fitting it. Overall very nice.

Pros
  • The NeoSport Wetsuits Full Suit is designed to withstand extended exposure to saltwater, sun, and chlorine, making it a durable and reliable option for regular swimmers or surfers
Cons
  • The wetsuit doesn't have any thermal lining for added warmth
