Good looking rain poncho worked good for the price

Updated my review. For the better. I was able to go for a hike in the rain it was a pretty steady rain for 3hrs at night body was dry hair got a little wet the bill was little weak and kept wanting to role over in the wind. My body how ever staid dry and it was big enough that when I needed more air flow to cool down I was able to pull arms in and lift it away some and cool down. Pretty please for the price point.

Pros
  • Thanks
Cons
  • The poncho may not keep you as dry as other rain gear would

Cost-effective; a few minor flaws

I got this to replace a heavier rain jacket for backpacking, with occasional dual-use as a tarp.Overall, this is a great choice! It's definitely waterproof, it's rip-stop nylon so it's going to outlast pure PVC options, and it's very light weight. I like that there's a draw-string around the hood, and having grommets to dual-purpose this as a tarp is a nice feature. The major downside is the snaps. They're plastic and not very large, but very stiff. They hold fine but they're hard to unsnap - I…

Pros
  • Love this everything I hoped for
Cons
  • It may not be as durable as other rain gear

I love this poncho.

This garment is lightweight, versatile, and quick-drying. I got caught in an unexpected drizzle in Salt Lake City. I barely got a drop on me. Much better than an umbrella if you can only pack one or the other.

Pros
  • Rain in Alaska cruise
Cons
  • The poncho may rustle loudly with movement

Good Product. Good Price.

Very Good Product For The Price. I Mean You Get What You Pay For. That’s Why I Only Gave It Four Stars. But For The Money The Product Is Spot On. My Only Complaint Is That It Was Too Big And I’m Six Foot Three. Then The Carry Bag Was Cheaply Made. It Tore A Little Bit Down The Side When I Tried To Use It. So Instead I Just Used The Ziplock Bag That The Poncho Was Packaged It.

Pros
  • Clothing, Shoes & Jewelry
Cons
  • The hood may obstruct your vision, making it difficult to see while walking

Great Purchase in my review

Great.I recommend. I am running around NYC in it and everyone is asking where I got it. LolMuch easier than juggling umbrella.Very Handy.

Pros
  • Easy to put on and take off
Cons
  • The poncho may not be suitable for people who live in areas with less frequent rain

Best $16.00 I've spent in awhile

Bought this poncho about a year ago specifically to walk our dog. This is the first year we've spent all winter at our condo in SC and it's been a rainy one. It works very well, keeps you dry. Had our pup out during a down pour and kept me dry except for my legs below the knee.it was windy so nothing would have stopped that. The sides snap in about 3 places on each side. I caught it on stair rail and it popped the snap off, so I would imagine, I'll pop more off over use.but I'll probably buy…

Pros
  • Men
Cons
  • It may not provide enough room for ventilation, causing you to feel overly warm

Really nice best in my review

I loved this poncho. I bought it for my son who is 6ft and it is long enough to cover him. He loved the hoodie that includes a protector for his hat. The little bag at the front is awesome too.

Pros
  • Can be layered over existing clothing for extra warmth
Cons
  • The poncho may not be suitable for people who are always on-the-go, as it may take too long to put on

My boyfriend LOVES it!

Perfect fit for my boyfriend! Got him this for Christmas because he wanted one & he was super happy to receive one, wore it when he got it and everything! hah

Pros
  • Just what I needed...
Cons
  • It may not be breathable, causing you to feel sweaty and uncomfortable

Surprisingly good - my new review

Decent thickness, much much better than thin film emergency rain gear, at about 2x the folded size. Large enough to cover a day pack without issue.

Pros
  • A little to big but it did the trick, kept me dry
Cons
  • It may not be as versatile as other types of rain gear

Short guys and gals - this fits

I’m a short guy (5’ 5” on best days) and no clothes from Revain ever fit me. Seeing a lot of the 6’ commenters say it hits below knees, I was afraid these ponchos would be to my ankles and drag all over. Nope. These come just below my knees. Maybe I’m thick enough to balloon it a few inches sideways? Eh, I’m not exactly fat either, probably would be considered on skinny side in USA. Long story short, it hits at just below my knees. For guys and gals 6’ and over, I’d imagine these will be mid…

Pros
  • Product was for my son and he loves them. Going to give a couple as gifts.
Cons
  • It may be difficult to pack or carry around

Don't like the snaps

I don't like that the snaps are not aligned which means the back is much longer than the front. I also don't like the way the snaps snap. They aren't the usual snap. Haven't tried it yet so no review on if it keeps me dry or not.

Pros
  • Offers generous coverage for maximum protection against rain
Cons
  • The poncho may not be suitable for people who are looking for a long-lasting investment piece

Great quality! - my new review

Much better than what I expected. I was wearing it in a weekend camping where it was raining all day. It's of great quality and worked perfectly!

Pros
  • Trench & Rain
Cons
  • The material may not be completely waterproof, causing moisture to seep in

Dry across 175 miles

I used this as my only foul weather clothes on Camino de Costa Rica (175 miles coast to coast) during rainy season. I stayed completely dry, it packs really small, lightweight and never a tear. Slight protrusion forward from hood to protect glasses which worked. I helped by wearing a baseball cap under it for downpours. Heat builds up but is greatly mitigated by the open sides, which I'd air out every 5-10 minutes just by raising my arms for a second to flush out the heat. I'd buy again.

Pros
  • I ordered for work , I’m a big guy and it’s easily put on and easily taken off
Cons
  • The poncho may not be adjustable, resulting in an ill-fitting garment

Reveiw by A. Beddoe:Good Value for Money but it is a Pain to Put on and Take Off over a Daypack - Rain Jacket is better It may not be suitable for people who are self-conscious about their body shape or size.

Pros
  • Made of high-quality materials for durability
Cons
  • It may not be suitable for people who are self-conscious about their body shape or size

Can not beat this poncho at this price point

I’m typing this review from out in the woods underneath this exact poncho while it’s raining. It’s been overcast today so I had a feeling it might rain. Didn’t feel like carrying my main pack so I just grabbed my axe and saw bag and attached this poncho to it.I‘m using it as a rainfly at the moment and I have to say, you just can’t do any better for this price. The grommets are strong, the material feels decently sturdy as far as ponchos/rainflys go, and most importantly I am dry.I tried it on…

Pros
  • Used it as a shelter and for its intended use. Great purchase
Cons
  • It may not be warm enough for colder weather
