My 7 year old trailer passed the inspection with these lights

My 7 year old trailer passed inspection EASILY with these lights. I had to drill new holes in the lantern brackets to make it fit, but that's no problem!

Pros
  • LIGHT. Bolt mount design with 2" wheelbase
Cons
  • #

Cheap wiring harness corrodes instantly

Wire is very thin and corrodes very quickly in the tuning bowl - if the connection fails you can't even strip the wire as is. so fragile it just breaks. Unfortunately, the wire used for the wiring harness is completely separate from the seemingly good lights.

Pros
  • Sub - Soundproof lens and housing
Cons
  • Useless features

Good luck fixing the wiring if something goes wrong

The center wire is so small it's impossible to remove the insulation. The conductor breaks every time. I had to buy another set of cables to get everything working again. Not good.

Pros
  • Works on 12 volt systems
Cons
  • Disappears

Cheap wiring harness will corrode instantly

Wire is very thin and corrodes very quickly in the tuning sleeve - if a connection fails, you can't even strip the wire as it is. so brittle it breaks easily Unfortunately, the wire used for the wiring harness is completely separate from what appear to be good lights.

Pros
  • 2" center-to-center stud mounting design
Cons
  • Compatibility

Everything you need to rebuild a small trailer.

The kit contained everything needed to convert the headlights on my PWC trailer. However, since it will be used in salt water, I decided to buy waterproof connectors and heat shrink tubing. Of course, some might think that's an exaggeration, but if the lights are advertised as waterproof, then the connections should be the same.

Pros
  • The 20ft wiring harness features a 4 pin connector for easy installation from a trailer to a tractor.
Cons
  • You could choose a newer model.

The lights themselves are good. Including wiring harness.

BE CAREFUL. YOU MUST REPLACE THE CABLE HARNESS ONE OR TWO MONTHS AFTER ITS INSTALLATION. The lights themselves are good. The included wiring harness is junk. Within a month of installing the hitch on my boat trailer. The wire coating began to crumble. And the wire used was crappy and cheap.

Pros
  • Epoxy sealed electronics resist moisture and corrosion
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks
