🌧️ Goodhoily Black Air Conditioner Drip Cushion & AC Rain Cover Review

I bought this window air-conditioning mat because the sound of the rain was driving me crazy! The magnet seems strong - unlikely to blow away. 2 weeks after installation I noticed a distinct noise during the rain. I'm glad I bought this.

This greatly reduces the rattling of drops from the upstairs air conditioner hitting our air conditioner. However, this didn't stop moisture from building up and forming biological communities in our air conditioner, which ended up smelling weird. Maybe it's better than before, but the problem hasn't entirely gone away.

Overall I like it. My only recommendation for improvement is a stronger magnet. On a fairly windy day, I put on a plastic cover to protect the air conditioner, expecting a magnet to hold the plastic cover in place. The next morning I had to go get the blanket in the middle of the street because the wind had blown it away.

I like what this product does. As for my life with an AC window unit, in the past it has been riddled with dripping sounds from the air conditioner overhead and rain. This product eliminated that. The only problem is that the magnetic adhesion is weak and I had to add glue to make sure it didn't get blown away by the weather. Otherwise, I am very satisfied.

The packaging does not match the way the product is presented on Revain. There is no product information but the item was stuffed into a plastic bag with no tags and some of the edges appear to have come loose from the foam - wouldn't be surprised if this item was used or returned. The description clearly states that it comes with a rain cover - no. I would return it in a heartbeat, but easier said than done in the current conditions.

Bought this product to cover my air conditioner. I live in a condo and the air conditioner above us was leaking water onto ours. When we heard it was dripping constantly it became too much so we searched for a solution and stumbled upon it. It was very easy to cut to size and apply. Its magnetic backing securely sticks to our air conditioner, while its foam top absorbs the sound of dripping water. The product worked exactly as described.

Due to the heavy rain we've had lately, the window air conditioners kept us up at night because of the rain. At times it really sounded like a badly played drum circle. I knew I needed some kind of muffler, but really how well can 1/2 inch thick foam work? probably no worse than rain hitting the windows and more importantly it's no longer a distraction. Bought these for all my air conditioners!

I bought this pad to reduce mold in my new air conditioner. I had to throw away my last pillow after only 3 years because the inside was blackened with mold and started to smell slightly musty. As another reviewer said, this cushion got rid of annoying rain noise, but it didn't stop moisture from building up inside the unit. At first I thought it was a great alternative anyway, but the pillow keeps all the moisture and gets soggy. Moisture can penetrate the device even if a magnet is present…

I'm writing this review a little late as the summer is over but better late than never. I've had a window air conditioner in my room for years with no problems but got a new one this summer and the first night it rained I ended up on the couch because the rain was so loud outside the air conditioner. I've never had this problem with any other, I think just a design difference. Anyway, the next day I started searching the internet for something that could absorb rain noise from the air…
