That is hard! for hand tools

I bought this along with my jackhammer for the bathroom makeover. I used it to remove 200 square feet of tile and grout and still haven't found any signs of wear.

Pros
  • Enjoyable
Cons
  • Quick Start Guide

Worked great but only took about 2 hours

This is exactly the knife I need for tiling. The angle is useful for breaking tiles. Unfortunately it broke where it enters the tool. Almost not strong enough.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • I won't say anything

Chipped thin set like a dream

We had a tile that we removed. The thin set didn't come off easily so we used it to snap it off. I used a vacuum to pick up the dust and my husband used a hammer drill with this attachment. It worked like a charm!

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Non automatic

Great tool, wish it was an inch taller

Love this tool, very solid and works great. I bought another thin film removal tool that was slightly larger, but this tool had a blade held in place by bolts that vibrated constantly. If this tool was an inch taller, it would be perfect.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Some bugs

Really works! - Power and hand tools

The product was great. Inexpensive but worked like a charm to remove floor tiles and the thick layer underneath. Short learning curve - when removing a tile you need a shallow angle of about 15 degrees but a steep angle of about 65 degrees to remove a thin layer. Used with an old Bosch Bulldog and worked quickly for about 3 hours on 300 square feet. Unbelievable! I waited several days with much swearing and calluses. Glad to hear about it.

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Really don't like it, everything is fine

It has worked well so far.

I'm digging up old little rocks from my underground pool. This 3" chisel lasted 3 days before breaking in my Makita SDS rock drill bit. Worked fine until it broke. Used to use an S&R tile bit (same size) which lasted about 11 days before the same type of breakage occurred. A much larger area was worked on with a heavier duty Dewalt bit, they are more expensive but I will buy another S&R bit to finish the job.

Pros
  • Power Tools and Hand Tools
Cons
  • Doubt

A good product, essential for blowing old tiles.

For demolishing 14" square tiles. Works great, good steel. Small size perfect for removing medium sized tiles 4-12 inches wide/square. I recommend a range of sizes if, like me, you prefer to remove full-size tiles rather than chipping and over-cleaning. A quality product that should have an angular function. It speeds up the work of getting the grout and of course removing the tiles. LIGHTNING FAST SHIPPING. very satisfied with the fast delivery.

Pros
  • Masonry Chisel
Cons
  • Not Safe

Essential bit for chopping and thin cutting

Worked well for me, had to remove over 200 square feet. Feet of old terracotta tiles that have been WELDED to a concrete base in most places. Literally (slowly) crumbling back into pieces of pottery and china. Used in an Extreme Power US rock drill that worked much better than the Bosch jackhammer and 1" chisel I previously rented. I didn't need to sharpen the blade during this project, although you could if you had a grinding wheel. Recommend this if you need an SDS Plus bit (make sure you…

Pros
  • Chisel
Cons
  • Requires socket
