Wrong yards, still good

Al oops is easy to use and soft. BUT the list says 87 yards when it's actually 79 yards. The box says 79 yards.

Carefully! Puffy Fine = Small Loops

This loop yarn can be purchased in either a puffy large loop or a puffy thin loop, which I didn't understand before purchasing. Less yarn, small loops - not the best combination at all!

  • Crumpled

Poor quality yarn, small loops. disappointed

The loops are very small, the thread is thin, the yarn is thin. The thread breaks very easily and the loops are simply pulled out until a straight piece of yarn is left. Maybe it's partly my ignorance, I've only been knitting loophole blankets for about 6 months and didn't know that there was a loop yarn with loops that small and yarn that fine. But even in this case, the quality of the material deteriorates sharply. I loved the idea of an ombre quilt, but I couldn't even get too far into the…

Not at all what I expected

It's supposed to be 7 wt. So I figured it would be chunky like the rest of the yarn I bought and no. And as far as it was I thought it would be an amazing yarn. But it's thin, as always, and the thread that attaches the loops isn't very strong. I figured that with 86 yards I could make the small blanket I usually need in other yarns and I was only able to make a small shawl. To make a quilt the size I usually use I need 3-4 pieces and it's not worth it. I wish I had read the other reviews…

Disappointed in yarn

I have been patiently waiting for this yarn for several days. Then it happens, I get a notification that it's there and I run to the door to find it. shoe-sized box. It's okay I tell myself, I'm pretty sure they vacuum pack it just for shipping. nope Not correct. Since this yarn is so expensive, I really expected better. It's very thin, if you sneeze hard it may break. The ombre is not as dramatic as it looks in the photos. There is only a slight difference between the darkest and the lightest…

Beautiful but much smaller loops than I thought

I've been working on various loop yarn projects for a few months now. I wanted to make a blanket as a gift for a friend and was having trouble finding purple loop yarn (her favorite color). I usually use Bernat Alize EZ yarn, it's lovely, very soft and fluffy. I've also used Off The Hook (Lion brand) which is also good but not as fluffy as Bernat Alize. I decided to give Alize Puffy Fine Ombre Batik a try because the ombre colors are beautiful and the reviews on Revain and beyond have been…
