Review on Elite Screens VMAX2 100-inch Electric Motorized HD Projector Screen - Ultimate Home Cinema Experience! by Dustin Wheeler

If it breaks after 2 years, it's impossible to fix.

I bought this screen a little over 2 years ago and it no longer works. It started with a thud as the screen rolled up, and now it doesn't move at all. The screen is completely clamped in the housing. I contacted Elite Screens regarding this and they told me that the 2 year warranty has expired. Although disappointing, I asked them if I could send them the screen and pay them to fix it. They told me THEY DON'T FIX THEIR OWN SCREENS! I then asked them about a repair shop that I could send it to to have it fixed and they told me THERE ARE NO REPAIR SHOPS THAT CAN HELP YOUR SCREENS! It's hard to believe that repairing their screens is impossible. As a result, I threw away the screen and bought another one. I expected the product to last longer and be repairable if it breaks. Very disappointed. Elite Screens VMAX2 150 inch 16:9 HD wall/ceiling downward facing motorized projection screen VMAX150XWH2
