Review on 🚽 Pourty Easy-Pour Potty, Blue by Tamara Simpson

Purple pot difficult to wash

Love the color (purple). Great concept - this is the first light pot I've seen. I already had a Fisher Price Precious Planet Froggy Potty and expected it to be my new favorite when it came out. We practice exclusive communication with our 9 month old daughter and I wanted a bottom potty so she can sit on herself once she starts walking. (The Fisher-Price pot is huge) The reason I still prefer the Fisher-Price pot despite its size; The Pourty potty is small and light, and with no non-slip pads on the base, it glides easily. The high front flap catches my daughter's crotch when she crawls away, knocking over the potty and spilling the contents on the floor. The seat is not ergonomic and rather narrow, leaving red spots on your buttocks after about a minute. The shape of the hole in the pot is oblong. This means my usual method of cleaning the bottom of the poo by rinsing it with water doesn't work because it splashes onto the sticky end. Instead, I have to wipe the underside with a tissue or leave water on it for a while. One night I accidentally put them on the pointed part at the back. I no longer use this pot at night. The frog pot is still our favorite pot. The high backrest and ergonomic seat support it without leaving red marks, and the detachable center section is easy to clean.
