Review on ECHOGEAR 10U Open Frame Rack - Wall Mountable Heavy Duty 4 Post Design for Networking & AV Gear - Includes 2 Vented Shelves & Mounting Hardware by Paula Reid

Expensive, but the quality is

Compared to 20U, which I had from the same company, 10U is more expensive. It comes with 4 stacking screws, but since it's designed for wall mounting, it doesn't have rubber feet like the 20U. It also comes with two 1U short inserts instead of a 20U short insert and a 4U long insert. If you order it as a separate stand and not wall mount it, you may need legs for it. It worked great for my application. Much better use of my space now. In case you're wondering, I also ordered Echogear wheels because the stacking racks were getting too heavy to push and pull into space. Attaching the wheels with the rack mounted is a little tricky, but we managed it. They slide on easily but there are no locks on them and they are silver in color. Thanks for reading and YMMV.

Pros
  • clear, even compared to the old
Cons
  • There are clear defects
