Review on Jeacent Conditioner Cover Outside Winter by Mark Hayes

Revainrating 5 out of 5

It seems to work

I recently installed a new AC unit; The installers recommended only covering the top instead of full coverage, so it looks like it should work. It's basically a tarp with some reinforced bungee cord holes. Nothing fancy, but again, it's a case, not a decoration. It is held in place with elastic cords; Note that the cables are completely disconnected from the lid. So if the cord is lost due to a break or whatever, you can easily replace it with a regular bungee cord from any hardware store. My block is 37 inches square; I bought the 36 inch size. . The upper grille is completely covered by it and extends down the side a couple of inches, making it appear quite large. I live in New England so everything outside takes a beating in the winter months. Mine is only a day old so I can't comment on its durability but it appears to be made out of durable fabric so I expect it to last for many years. Folds up for storage. Installation is easy; Took 30 seconds. It is attached with four bungee cords. That seems safe enough. I didn't pull the laces too tight.
