Review on πŸ”’ Enhance Security with the Ghost Controls AXZL ZombieLock Automatic Gate Lock by Kofi Wills

Great idea, bad execution.

I hesitated to post this until I was convinced. I've been using ZombieLock for about nine months now. The product has two problems.1. When unlocking spaces, it only stays open for a few seconds. I see no reason why it shouldn't stay open for ten seconds. why should i worry I have a 15 foot aluminum tubular gate. You'd think the wind would go straight through, but it catches enough wind that the north wind wants to open the gate and the south wind wants to close it. I either constantly adjust the "thrust" of the gate to compensate for the wind. When I set it to close properly, it doesn't close fully when the wind blows in the gate. If I set it to just push in the lock and then the wind changes direction, the ZombieLock will open and close again before the gate has moved far enough, and close the gate again. This problem can be solved by leaving the latch open longer. I don't see any major flaws in it.2. The pin that the latch is attached to is too small. When the weather gets colder or warmer, my fence posts move a little. But the angle created by moving through the 15ft gate is enough that the two ZombieLock sections are no longer aligned. It would either hit too high or too low, and if the damn thing was just an inch or two longer, the problem would be solved. Alright, let's get down to business. Wondering how this product can be amazing? Insert an electrical sensor. When the end of the ZombieLock touches the metal (meaning it's closed), press the latch to close it. You can completely disable the "Gate Jog" function. The gate closes on contact. PLEASE? DO IT AND TAKE MY MONEY!
