Worked great but quickly failed

I used this product for less than 10 hours before it failed, but I'm not paying attention yet. While it worked I used it with an Oculus Quest 2, tested it on a gaming laptop and a gaming PC, both worked reasonably well (of course the PC runs smoother), but as others have said, this cable will become your headset Do not charge . If the headset's battery is completely dead, you won't be able to turn it on, even if it's connected via the connection cable, until you charge it a bit with the real charger that came with the device. Since it worked before, I would like to give four or five stars. I was using the cable with no problems until accidentally while playing, my game crashed and the screen froze. Note: The Oculus menu system is absolute rubbish (From the quest home page, you need to use the Oculus link to go to the Rift home page, to go to the Steam VR home page to play your game. It's unrealistic , how bad the current VR software ecosystem is (but it's not relevant to this review). Sometimes things get a little jumpy and freezing, and that's usually okay. I restarted my computer and plugged the connection cable back in, and I got a message that said "Power surge: The attached USB device requires more power than the port can provide". I've never seen this error before, but it goes without saying that the cable is roasted. Luckily my headset is fine, but I'll be stuck playing SideQuest games for a while. I don't know, maybe I was just unlucky and got a bad cable or it kind of burned out, but next time I'll buy an official cable.
