First I thought I had the recording level too high. Then I kept looking for connection/wiring problems. I kept noticing a fuzzy sound in the right channel on my own recordings as well as with pre-recorded cd's. Tried everything and then switched to a cheap Samsung cd player and playback on the pre-recorded cd's is great. Now to see if the recordings I have made with the TEAC CD-RW890MK2-B sound better when played back on the Samsung player. Very disappointed already and if I find that the recordings are defective I will come back and lower my rating. Of course since it took me a long time to figure out the defect it is too late to return it :(
