Review on Danby 18 Inch Built In Dishwasher by Terry Paige

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Very good dishwasher, quiet, cleans well, good price

Easy to install. I got a little scared because upon arrival I noticed that the width listed on the outside of the box is about 21.6 inches. But I unboxed it and it was actually less than 18 inches wide. uv I have never bought a dishwasher before and was very surprised and frustrated that the choice of cheap 18 inch dishwashers was so limited. I paid $500 for it (I could have sworn it was only $460 the week before). It wasn't the cheapest product, but it was one of the cheapest. It has good features and the company's website is very informative. I emailed customer support before purchasing and the response was quick and thorough. I took this as a good sign. Installation was pretty easy. The beauty of the features of this dishwasher is that the hot water connection is accessible from the front of the machine by removing the protective panel. So if I had to tighten the plumbing or whatever, I wouldn't have to pull the car out from under the counter. The instructions could have been clearer, especially regarding the leveling feet. For those who are installing the dishwasher for the first time, it only comes with a drain hose. You must provide plumbing fittings/adapters and an electrical plug for each appliance (unless you hardwired it). He is calm. Washes and dries very well. It looks good. (although I could do without Danby's such prominent branding). It's small, suitable for 2 people. We run it about every day or day and a half. But we're also home all the time, every damn day - thanks to Covid - so I'm sure that will change over time. I definitely recommend this dishwasher.
