Review on Magformers Pieces: Magnetic Building for Engaging Educational Play by Matt Vanlaere

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Good starter kit: Construction toy

This is a late review. I bought this item for my 2 and 5 year old grandchildren. They liked this set but they started fighting over the parts. We've since upgraded to a larger set at 144 pieces and my grandkids are having fun putting them together. A set of 30 items is designed for one child. If you have more than one child I would recommend a larger set. My grandchildren are 3 and 6 now and still love Magformers. I'm amazed at how long they've been playing with it and how creative they've gotten. If this is for younger kids, I recommend watching some online videos on different assembly methods so you can get them started. My grandkids asked for more Magformers for Christmas. They enjoy learning STEM skills and creativity. Two things I don't like about them are the high price and the build booklet that comes with them. The booklet shows objects that cannot be built with a 30-piece set and the children are disappointed.
