TERRIFIC BASSINET THAT ENCOURAGES BONDING WITH BABY!

Nothing as wonderful as this was available when I had my two daughters! I wanted my babies close to me, so I slept with their bassinet close to my bed. I would have been thrilled to be able to sleep with my hand on my babies while we both slept. I really LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this bedside sleeper. As others have mentioned, sheets, mattress pads, etc. are very difficult to find for this bassinet because it is not the usual size. I'm a terrific seamstress, So . . . what I did was I took a fitted bed sheet and measured the mattress, added 4" all around and used that as my pattern. On the two sides where there was already elastic, I left them as they were. I curved all corners, then added elastic to the other two edges. I had four sheets in a very short period of time. True, my homemade sheets don't have cute baby prints, but they serve their purpose; and in the end that is all that really matters. The look of this bassinet is really clean and attractive. The size of it is great and I love that it has wheels so it's easy to move around. The mesh on the sides is nice to allow air flow and I like the adjustable positions. It did take me quite a while to figure out how to put it together. Because the instructions were not very clear, I spent a good hour and a half between set up and trying to figure out how to attach it to the bed. Once it was up it was very easy to use.Overall I'm really happy with this bassinet, and I can't recommend this bassinet highly enough!
