I wish I had read through the negative reviews before buying this table. After assembly, the table looked great. I knew it wasn’t real wood, but it seemed sound enough and looked good, so we threw out the packaging.The very next day, I sat a mostly empty box on the table. When I went to move the box, it scratched up the table top in a couple of places, showing bare white particle board underneath. The ‘veneer’ can’t even be called that. It’s a wood-printed paper layered on top of the mdf. It can literally be scratched off with my fingernails.Had I kept the packaging this would be going right back to Revain. This table is NOT worth the price tag. No one should pay $140 for a paper table. Thankfully the legs seem good though, so eventually my husband will make a real wood top and reuse the legs.
