Review on BackLight Elite 45L Camera Backpack By MindShift Gear For DSLR, Mirrorless, Photography, And Video Shooting by Harry Tulsa

Well Made Beast good for me

This backpack is well made and fits my gear comfortably. I am 5'9" female and it worked well for me. I carried two Nikon camera bodies, a 70-200, 14-24, 24-70, and 85, with accessories all over the Rocky Mountains. Loaded with that gear I weighed the pack before we left and it was 37 pounds. Once I added water etc, for the hiking I would estimate it was about 40lbs. It is heavy and and I relished taking it off after long hikes :) It is not for the faint of heart but if you have a lot of gear and you need a pack to carry it, this is about as comfortable as it gets. It's a great pack. My one complaint would be that you have to unzip the back completely to get anything out that's lower down in the pack. I would have liked some kind of easier access, but that wasn't enough to deter me from this pack.

Pros
  • Superior Fit: Robust lumbar padding, hip-hugging waist belt, quick-dry back panel, and foam ridges for increased ventilation
Cons
  • The backpack is quite rigid, which can make it difficult to pack when traveling
