Let me tell ya.this is ONE.STURDY.CABLE! Sound quality is A-M-A-Z-I-N-G but the reason for the four stars is because the tips do NOT wanna stay in very well. Since the cable is so heavy and the ends are so small the cable likes to kind of dangle JUST a tad and it doesn't fit into my sound bar or Playstation 4 very well. Now it isn't a problem because it's not like I'm moving my sound bar or PS4 or anything so it's not like the cable is falling out all the time but it does seem like they could have made the part that clips in better quality because the other optical digital cable I was using, which was one of the super small skinny ones about the width of a hair of spaghetti, was TIGHT and FIRM and didn't move or fall out AT ALL. Now like I said if you aren't moving your equipment you won't have to worry about it falling out but if you're using something that has the optical digital cable input on the BOTTOM and the cable would be sticking STRAIGHT UP definitely expect it to fall out! But don't let that deter you from buying it because most inputs for OD cables are on the backs or sides of things NOT the bottom! Definitely a REALLY nice cable just wish the ends would clip into things better!
