WILL NOT READ GAMECUBE DISCS.

This product is likely to be fully functional, but this particular model of drive is a replacement for later Wii models and therefore cannot read Gamecube discs. There's no obvious mention of this fairly important feature (or lack thereof) for original Wii owners looking to replace their dying original drives. Sellers make no effort to clarify this. I returned mine after an incorrect order and bought the correct disc from a more honest seller for a lot cheaper on another site. 3 stars for a deceptively poor seller description.
