does not work in VW

upgraded to these in my 2011 jetta and with these installed the warning light in the cluster tells me I have a light out but when i check the lights are on so I switched back to the old lights and no error so the problem with with these LEDs

Pros

Light output is very bright. Much better than stock! Exactly what I wanted

Cons

May constitute a safety hazard when installed incorrectly
