I bought a BDPS1200 and compared it to a Stock Club Boost model BDP-BX520. If you don't need Wi-Fi or 3D, use the BDPS1200. In the comparison test, the picture and sound quality was the same on my high-end Panasonic plasma home cinema system. Subtract everything from the Up model and both players function and act exactly the same. I sent the X520 back. I'm very glad I saved $30 on some unnecessary/non-working features. If you need Wi-Fi, use BDPS3200 or similar. If you need 3D, choose BDPS5200 or similar. My experience with the advanced features of the BDP-BX520/BDPS5200: - Screen Mirroring and TV SideView only work with a few phones/tablets - Web browser is a nightmare - Triluminous Color, at least on a Blu-Player Ray just hype - good luck with that To get DLNA working As a Blu-Ray player and for over 200 streaming applications, the BDPS1200 is great!
