I bought this for my mother because she sold someone something very expensive and being from another time agreed that person would pay her would when she said she would pay them. Well, after a year and 4 million excuses, the woman still hasn't paid her mother to buy it. It was clear that this woman had no intention of paying her and was in fact cheating on an elderly woman who was selling her property just to pay for chemotherapy. I hate to say it, but some people are screwed - big deal! Anyway, I have used this device many times to get this woman to confess that she would send my mother the money she owes her. The last phone call was the best as I told her that I had recorded our conversations many times and the judge would not like that she was obviously trying to cheat on my mother. But no judge! Thanks to this device, he not only ruled in my mother's favour, but also received a significant sum for what she did to my mother. He also told the woman that if she didn't pay by a certain date, he would take the matter to prosecutors because he believed what she had done was in fact grand theft. Needless to say, my mother received all of the money that was awarded to her within two days. I cannot recommend this simple device enough. If you strike a handshake deal with someone and they refuse or try to steal from you, like my mom did, this device can prove to you that you need to sue that person. This is just one way to use this device. Others here have said they use the device to enforce contracts or to make sure both parties are on the same page. Whatever your needs, or even if you feel like you don't need it right now, it's a good idea to have one of these devices in your home and/or office. You never know when it might come in handy.
