Great monitor for on the go

I really can't say much other than the fact that I really like this monitor for everything it puts out. The monitor is not only almost perfectly calibrated, as every manufacturer should, but also contains no quality defects (backlight glare, dead pixels, etc.); Something a lot of manufacturers seem to be missing these days. In addition, it can also be powered only from a USB 3.0 port on your computer; However, be aware that if you connect it through the specified port, you will lose some functionality of the display. Some of the features you will lose are speakers and brightness levels higher than 50 percent. The rest works great with no problems. I am currently using this monitor with my Inspiron 7559 laptop as the display that comes with the laptop is mediocre on almost every level. That, in turn, is a huge upgrade all around. Although I do wish we had the ability to adjust the response time in the display's OSD menu. It can use a few settings or two. But all in all it's still pretty good. Overall, I highly recommend this monitor, especially if you have a "gaming laptop" with a so-so display like mine. One thing to look out for when purchasing this monitor for the first time. The display is technically a 'TV', at least when viewed on the GPU panel. This means that you need to set the "color range" to either "limited" or "full" to get the full color palette. If you don't make this setting, the display may look very gray. Use the lagom LCD monitor test images website. This should help set the monitor to the correct settings in the GPU control panel. Also, let this review be a message to display manufacturers of all kinds. Always make sure you calibrate your display before sending it out to the public AND make sure the display covers at least 95 percent, if not 99 percent, of the color space to match sRGB; NOT 60 PERCENT OR LESS!
