Review on Compact UV Blocking Umbrella with Superior Sun Protection by Crystal Jenkins

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Worth the money and works as advertised.

Yes, it works, and yes, I think it costs 4 times more than a normal umbrella. I tried using a regular umbrella but found I got quite a bit of heat from the direct rays. This is because the fabric absorbs heat from direct rays and then re-radiates it in the shade of an umbrella (I have a bachelor's degree in physics and am a licensed engineer and I have studied and applied these thermodynamic principles in my lineage). Work). I was looking for an umbrella with a reflective surface as this would greatly reduce the problem of heat radiation under the umbrella. The umbrella does a great job. It's also well built and will handle tipping over due to treacherous winds without damaging structural components. It blocks most of the direct sunlight (you can still see some sun through the fabric). You will still feel the warmth of the surroundings as the earth is hot and emits a lot of infrared heat, but you will get very good relief from direct sunlight. Although compact, this umbrella is slightly thicker and heavier than a regular compact umbrella. This is due to the reflective coating on the outside of the fabric. I've gotten used to that, especially when it covers the sun so well. There are other reflective umbrellas at a lower price. I don't know about them and they may work quite well, but I can vouch for their performance. It's a good alternative to sunscreen, and as a bonus, it stops sunscreen from contaminating our water (which happens when you swim or take a bath).

Pros
  • understandable also for the old ones
Cons
  • possibility of exchange
