Review on Vyper 3 High-Intensity Vibrating Foam Roller For Muscle Recovery And Pain Relief by Jerardo Yatnalkar

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Design and Engineering is too radical

I love the looks of this foam roller but its simply over-engineered and not functional in my opinion. The vibration, even on the lowest setting, is too strong and makes too much noise. I've tried using it on my 3/4" foam mat and it still rattles my entire room. I like the idea of having a curved shape but the foam portion of the foam roller is too thin in the center. You can only really roll the upper portion of your back and it starts digging into your spine towards the middle of your back. Similarly for legs, the shape is great for thicker muscles such as your hamstring or butt but the foam is too thin for sensitive portions such as your IT band. I really wanted to like this product but it somehow has less functionality than 2.0 version.

Pros
  • 3 speeds, High-torque 34w motor, Contour-designed EPP roller
Cons
  • The vibration may be too intense for some users, leading to muscle soreness or injury
