With a lot of help from our potty toddler, our 2.5 year old is being potty trained! The little one became our daughter's best friend for a week when she and her little one learned how to use the potty together. We used task cards as rewards and our daughter thoroughly enjoyed each one. On day one, the rewards compelled her to go potty, which helped her get the feel of it. The toddler book that came with the set was arguably the clearest potty training book. This helped her learn all the steps she needed to master in order to use the potty successfully. There are so many small steps that are so new to a baby who's been in diapers all his life that the reward cards motivated us both to keep going when things got difficult because it was easy and fun. The Parent's Guide has been an extremely helpful resource. I didn't need a long and windy book, I just needed a little confidence, a few simple words and the right perspective on how to approach it. We persevered and are grateful to Tot on the Pot for switching sides.
